Join the Powhatan and Pocahontas Democratic Club for their Community Debate Night on Wednesday, April 25th at 6:45pm at their clubhouse, located at 41-05 Newtown Road in Astoria.
In November 2017, we launched a series of community debate nights as a way to bring local people together to talk about politics and envision our future while having fun and building community. Join us for another night of debates! You can ask questions of the debaters, vote, socialize, or just sit back and enjoy the event.

1) Should the Democratic Party support only pro-choice candidates?
2) Should the United States institute a universal basic income?
